About Us
Established in 2004 by Mark and Emma Macdonald Todd’s Botanics is truly a family business. Mark and Emma met at Pershore College in Worcestershire as students. Emma graduated with a BSc (Hons) Horticulture (having previously completed an HND in Garden Design - also at Pershore). Whilst Emma worked as a Garden Designer for Notcutts Landscapes Mark helped to manage an exotic plant nursery - 'Mulu' in Worcestershire. Emma had spent summers away from Pershore working at Great Dixter and Beth Chatto's plant nursery amongst other highly regarded gardens. When Mark & Emma decided to take the plunge and start Todd's Botanics all this varied gleaned experience really helped to shape the business. It is fair to say Todd's Botanics would not be where it is today without a huge amount of (unpaid!) help and support from Mark and Emma's fathers David and Neil.

Ethos
As we are based in the part of the country with the lowest annual rainfall we select plants with a strong emphasis on drought tolerant species. That's not to say you won't find plants at Todd's Botanics that are not drought tolerant but you can be sure they are definitely worth the extra care and attention.
