Ancient olive, oak tiered beds and seating (click to view)

Todd's Botanics were asked to create a low maintenance feature on a South facing slope that would complement existing surroundings and provide an interesting perspective from both the house and patio.

We designed a four tiered solid oak gravel bed with seating to house a striking 250 year old olive tree and hardy herbaceous. 

The elevation of the olive shows off the fascinating structure of its ancient truck which is under planted with Sedum, Hebe, and Pittosporum tobira, with lavender and Teucrium carrying through a touch of the Mediterranean.
