Two-tiered rooftop garden in Chelsea, London (click to view)

Working in collaboration with architect Derek Williams, we created a two-tier rooftop garden on the 7th floor of a Chelsea penthouse apartment. 

The upper terrace is contained within a closely clipped box column hedge, providing an instant screen for privacy. Low level planting was carefully chosen for their elegant textures, attraction to wildlife, fragrance and ability to withstand the forces of an exposed site.

The more formal lower terrace is divided into three areas of interest: decking, paving and grass, complemented by a structural planting scheme. 

The entire garden is designed to ensure interest all year round.
