In fact reports are showing that this has been the coldest winter for the UK since records began. Some casualties amongst the Agaves I expect, also the extreme cold followed by the sudden increase in temperature has caused the olive trees to shed some leaves. Thankfully these will start shooting again in the spring, and by May/June should be fully laden with glistening silver foliage. If yours have been hit then fear not they will recover.
