Our bays are sourced on quality and are supplied by a company based in Belguim who are regarded as the best growers in Europe. Bay is a dense bushy evergreen shrub or tree. They look fabulous trimmed into any topiary shape and as a pair in pots. Alternatively, bays can make a great screen or hedge or be left au naturel to grow into its own shaggy shape.
Topiary bay trees add a touch of elegance and really come into their own in winter when their deep green colour stands out and they add depth, structure and texture to the garden. The stems of bay trees can be manipulated into spirals, or left to form a nice straight stem. The bay tree is an aromatic plant and the bay leaves can be plucked and freshly used for adding a depth of flavour to stews, sauces curries etc. Bay trees are very easy to maintain and have a very valued appearance all year round, in open ground or in a container.
