Description
Customer Reviews

Butia capitata, also known as Jelly Palm, is beautiful arching feather palm, which has repeatedly shown itself to be hardy to -12C. The Jelly Palm has stunning blue-green leaves which can reach 2.5m in length, and has a stocky architectural structure which eventually will reach 3-4 m tall and 2m wide. The Jelly Palm takes its name from the fleshy fruits used to produce jelly. A native of Brazil and Uruguay, the Jelly Palm will produce fruit in this country after a good hot summer. Butia capitata like the Chamaerops humilis palm is ideally suited for large and small gardens alike.
