Olives

There has to be some advantages to climate change and this is certainly one of them. It is possible to grow and crop your own olives outdoors in the UK. It's not exactly going to scare the Italian olive growers but who cares. For a bit of fun and a lot of satisfaction grow your own olives to enjoy with that gin and tonic (with the lemon from your own citrus tree). Truly spectacular. Some of our fantastic trees are hundreds of years old and looking for a good home.

Olea europaea (Common Olive)
Fantastic little plants. Ideal as a pair either side of a front or back door.

85 cm overall height (incl. container). Evergreen - look great all year round. Same price as the taller feathered trees below which you can mix and match for the money saving deal. Can be sent by mail order to mainland UK £9.95 per tree.

Olea europaea 'Picual'

A new olive to the UK. We have over 350 of these in the ground as an olive grove here at the nursery! We think this is the most suitable olive available for producing good quality fruit in the UK so the ideal choice for an olive grove. Early harvest with good sized fruit. These olives are 1.6 - 1.8 m overall height (incl. container).
