Pitto 'Tom Thumb' is one of our favourite plants. Such a hard working plant, with no maintenance requirements whatsoever. Provides an excellent foil for bright colours and contrasting textures. I have Cornus Midwinter Fire' planted next to mine, and snowdrops. The new leaves appear bright lime green in Spring, and get darker and darker as the sun takes affect. Looks the picture of health all year round too, no 'off' period. A must for any sunny, well drained garden. Slowly forms a shrub approx 1.2m diameter and height.
