Dahlia 'Cafe au Lait'

Dahlia Cafe Au Lait is one of the most popular varieties at the moment! Much sought after amongst us Dahlia lovers. It is not surprising really, its a fabulous dahlia to grow, the flowers are such an unusual colour; a soft, subtle mix of creamy-peach-coffee colour and very large and decorative. This Dahlia has such an impact! Cafe au Lait blends well with all other colours and is often grown for bridal bouquets. 

Give your dahlia plenty of space to grow, we suggest staking right from planting so the plant can grow up through the supports and look au natural. Plant in a free draining, fertile soil in full sun (ideally sheltered from strong winds). 

Dahlia will flower from July to the first frosts, during the growing season, water and feed well for excellent flowering and deadhead or cut blooms regularly to promote more flowers.
