Dierama 'Dark Cerise'

Dierama pulcherrimum 'Dark Cerise' is a lovely tall, South African perennial with graceful and delicate arching stems of dark, plum-purple flowers which hang down and sway in the breeze, looking just like little fishing rods. A much loved exotic looking perennial which flowers from July. Plant in a sunny spot that is not too dry. Cut down the old foliage in spring. Dierama looks spectacular with ornamental grasses, does best in the ground rather than pots.
